Owner and lead designer of Scarlet Flowers Designs (SFD), Christina Bentley has always had a flair for bringing visions to life. She has a passion for color and a talent for creativity. Starting as a child, she enjoyed gardening, working with arts and crafts and creating tablescapes for many occasions. Christina prides herself on providing quality products and outstanding customer service on any budget.
She and her team bring a fresh, innovative and unique approach to floral design and décor combing non-traditional elements with classic styles and colors.
This Southern California native has completed multiple hands on courses in exotic, holiday floral design and floral design for weddings. Christina has over six years of experience. In April of 2008, Christina decided to transform her passion in a full time business serving private, corporate and non-profit clients.
The SFD team includes professional floral designers, delivery drivers, set-up crew, graphic designs and photographers who are equipped to handle events of all sizes and locations.
Clients include Nestlé USA, The Team Heal Foundation, The Harold Pump Foundation, Halle Berry Silver Rose Classic, Brotherhood Crusade, USC Latino Alumni Association, American Airlines (Flagship Charity), Los Angeles African American Women’s Public Policy Institute (LAAAWPPI), Phillips Temple CME Church, The Natural History Museum, Reading Is Fundamental and Medispa 90210 in Beverly Hills, just to name a few.
Christina earned a Bachelors Degree from UCLA in Sociology with minors in Political Science and African American Studies. At UCLA, Christina was initiated into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Pi Chapter where she served as Chapter President and was instrumental in the chapter winning Farwest Region Chapter of the Year because of their outstanding programming efforts.
Prior to starting her business, Christina worked as a Staff Writer for L.A. Focus Newspaper.
